So I've dubbed my quest for having a show of just sharpie doodles as Sharpie-mania! And sharpie-mania continues! This kaiju is all about destroying cities and standing up for sharpie-mania! In all seriousness I will have to draw a huge amount of sharpie doodles to fill up a show but I'm up for this challenge! It would make an interesting show I think. It may work better if it was a collective of sharpie drawings though, like you get like 3 or 4 people and everyone gets a wall to own as theirs. This could be interesting. Anyways, check out the flickr page and enjoy the sharpie-mania pics, there are some that I haven't posted on here.

Sharpie-Mania!
Yes Sharpie-mania continues! Here's an unhappy penguin I doodled today! I can identify with the sad/painful look on it's face. It brings back memories of my battle with shingles very recently. Shingles are bad. Bad. Sharpies are good though! I will make enough sharpie doodles to fill up an art space! I will! Join me in the sharpie-mania!

One More...
Just one more from today! So yeah.. Sharpie mania! Everyone get some typing paper and some sharpies, let's all go sharpie crazy! Why not? Let's go! SHARPIEMANIA!!
I Like Sharpies
Sometimes I imagine having a show where the wall is covered in pieces of typing paper. Typing paper covered with doodles made with sharpies. There would be little self-printed mini's for sale featuring selections from the show in it. And every piece of sharpie art would be for sale. For cheap. Like from One to Five dollars each. And it would be a very silly show, but it would be a show of just sharpie art and I would tell myself "Wow.. I had a show of just sharpie doodles. This rules!" I should pursue this one day! Watch out for a show of just sharpie art! It will rule!

It Felt Bad
So I am recovering from having Shingles... ON MY FACE. It was not fun. My right eye got all swollen. It felt like someone was driving spikes into my face and my head. Not fun. The swelling is all gone, and the blisters are on their way out, but until they're gone I'm still stuck "under house arrest" so to speak, because being out in the general public (ie going out to eat, going to the movies, etc) I put children and adults who haven't had chicken pox in danger of getting chicken pox. Not fun. So I wanted to vent with some doodling. Lovely no? And yes the swelling is exagerrated, though it was pretty bad around my eye and eyebrow. Ah.. yeah. All should find ways to reduce the stress in their lives. Stress put this on me. Avoid stress!
